MINUTES
President Shannon Snyder called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M. In addition to Shannon and Board
Members Carolyn Fishel, Mary Cooper and Fay Rice, 26 members and guests were in attendance.
There was a motion to approve the minutes of the January meeting. Approved.
Carolyn gave the treasurer’s report stating there was $405.51 in the treasury, $11.00 collected at
the January meeting, making a total of $416.51.
Shannon announced that Storm Water Management was hosting another public meeting in the near future. He
encouraged members to watch for the date and attend.
He then introduced speakers to give information on the strong mayor referendum on the March 12 ballot.
Linda Holland appeared to speak for a strong mayor and Stan Zimmerman spoke against the issue.
Rhonda Moraca announced there would be another East Avenue clean-up on Saturday, March 9.
Carolyn and Shannon announced that Mr. McCarthy from the Parks & Recreation Department would be at the
March 19 meeting to speak about Arlington Park.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
